The Educatio exhibition, which is the largest college education exhibition in the country, took place between 11 and 13 January 2024 at Hungexpo. Visitors were able to meet the Hungarian Defense Forces, who used tanks and helicopters to promote military training. Visitors interested in robotics could see robots dancing or running around like dogs. But more importantly for us, all the Hungarian Formula Student teams were looked for exhibitors of the event, including us BME Motorsport.
During the 3 days, we were present at the BME stand with our 2023 car the FRC-X. We helped to promote the Budapest University of Technology and to tell the visitors about the university's courses and the great opportunities within the school, such as BME Motorsport and Formula Student. We had a lot of visitors, all of whom were very curious about our team and from whom we got lots of interesting questions. Those who wanted to, could even get into our car. We were very grateful for the great interest in our team. Many people came to us having heard about us before, knowing what Formula Student was and what a team Motorsport was like. We were even invited to the Educatio VIP presentation area where the HÖOK conference was held. There, our team captain Eszter Balogh was able to present to a selected and highly honored audience about BME Motorsport as the only speaker representing a Formula Student team. We are always very grateful for this kind of feedback, as it praises the work of the whole team, be it the engineers or our marketing and sponsorship team.
We would like to say many thanks to the organizers of the exhibition for the invitation! It was a pleasure to meet the Motorsport team members of the future! We hope to have the opportunity to roll our car out to Educatio next year!
